Sorting Reports

The functions Sort in Ascending Order and Sort in Descending Order sort the report rows in ascending or descending order for one or more columns.Sort function used in reports can select a maximum of seven sort fields,The sort fields enable you to determine the criteria used to sort. The following sort types are available:

  • First occurrence
  • Every occurrence
  • Last occurrence

    • Determining a sort type has no effect on the contents of output in the output list The R/3 System sorts only consecutive report rows on the same summarization level, the order set in the summarization hierarchy remains unchanged.
